Personal Profile

My name is Vanessa Robbins, and I am an artist based in Rosemount, Minnesota. My artwork hangs in the halls of the University of Minnesota Crookston and many homes throughout the U.S.A. I am a traditional artist. My preferred mediums are colored pencil and acrylic paint. However I also work in copic marker, watercolor pencils, and pens/inks. My art has won prizes at local fairs including first place, an award of excellence, and grand champion. I have been featured at the Robert Trail Library as a solo artist for the month of October, 2022. I have also been a vendor at many art shows and craft fairs. I even made it into a science and art exhibition at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where I am currently working towards a bachelor's of art in Art.

My hobbies include working with and riding horses whenever I can, listening to music (Taylor Swift, Todrick Hall, musicals), watching Disney+, reading (Kristin Hannah), volunteering at Como Zoo with the giraffes, riding my unicycle, and hanging out with friends and family.

I would love to be hired for commissions, murals, children's books illustrations, holiday window paintings, and pet portraits. I look forward to working with you to meet your artistic needs!
